Past Refreshes:

• Sue V. - She brought her Win Vista Latop in. Password was forgotten. Software was purchased to "Reset" the password. Password was reset and now she can get back in.
• Ernie F. - Kids used computer and visited websites that contained "Drive-By Downloads" and crashed his system. He brought in his PC to be wiped completely, NOT expecting his data to be saved. Computer was wiped and data was RESTORED!
• Mary N. - Mary is a lawyer, who can't afford to be without her computer. Her computer was the victim of a brand new email virus, which the scanners didn't catch. She needed the info off it NOW!! Her court case was due in the morning. She was diligent with her backups, but the current stuff wasn't on it YET! We removed the data and put it onto another drive, and even put it on a thumb-drive so she could use it anywhere. The day was saved and she won the case!
• Molly B. - Just back from College and eager to catch up with her friends, Molly took out the DELL Laptop. She put it on her bed, went for a drink and came back. She jumped on the bed, and the laptop jumped off! The monitor was toast and she couldn't get her DATA. She called us and we made an exact copy BEFORE she sent it to dell to have the screen replaced. Good thing, too. Dell wiped her data and didn't save ANYTHING. We restored her data, songs, and pictures and gave her a copy of it on an external drive.
• Jean R. - Everyone shares the computer at Jean's home. All that surfing is bound to catch something. She was protected with VirusScanner, Firewall, etc. Her computer still became infected. Once again, we saved the data, wiped it clean, and restored the Data, Songs, and Pictures. We even sat down with her to TRAIN her how to use the computer and work with the Pictures, Email, and Web Surfing.
• Danny G. - Danny's eMachine computer died. We removed the data from the old drive and restored to his new drive. Old computer was Win98se. His new computer is Windows Vista. We worked out software problems so he could use his old data.
• American Water Systems - AWS purchased another company. They needed two servers consolidated, and have both companies share printers, drives, and software. The site was surveyed. An estimate was prepared and went to work. Both Servers were consolidated into one. User accounts were created using Active Directory, and the software was configured so everyone could use it, in accordance with their license agreement. Both companies were finally combined but separate.
• Webster Printing & Mailing Co. - Webster was transformed from a Mom & Pop shop to a fully-integrated PC and Mac hybrid network. All users have use of any equipment and shares according to their user privilages. Webster even successfuly had both locations conneted to email, SQL, and server shares using Secure VPN. Webster has been virus free since 2000!

Current Refreshes:

• Yolanda F. - She desperately needed the data off the DEAD Macintosh G3 OS9. The Flyback transformer was dead, a $250 part. She needed the data off the drive, ASAP. We dismantled the Mac and Removed the Drive. We were able to use the drive and get the data onto a DVD for her to use. We went an extra mile and even helped her get the data into a useable format for her to use.
• Jim W. - Another victim of "Drive-by Download". Just innocently surfing the web, programs were loaded into the Start Menu and Quicklaunch, causing his computer to make him wait forever to surf. NO PROBLEM! We save the data, wipe the drive, and Jim is back up and running! This is his second computer he brought in.
• Andrea C. - She emailed me saying that it took her 20 minutes just to type that email looking for help. Her computer was filled to the brim with spyware, programs that filled up the taskbar, and also had a virus that captures credit card info. We removed McAfee and Norton and replaced it with AntiVir and cleaned the Registry, Windows folders, Startup items, etc. Now her computer is as fast as the first day she bought it!! She sent us an email, thanking us, within seconds.
• Tom Z.. - Tom's Dell Dimension E510 was "Factory Restored" by his son, who made a valliant attempt, but lost all data, including valuable documents, family vacation pictures, and tons of music (they paid for). We UNDELETED all the files and restored them to their proper locations. We virus scanned the drive and found 4 viruses and 2 worms. We blasted them and installed ANTIVIR to keep it clean. Tom was extremely happy with the speed and price!

Future Projects:

• Working with CloneZilla cloning software, to create exact image of hard drive. Do what we did, create an exact image of your hard drive ** While it is in good condition ** to restore when you have a serious problem later! It takes us less than 10 minutes to get back in working order.
